Rye, NY | Milton | Coastal House
With a new coastal home, this young family of 5 can spread their wings into an open-plan Westchester space. I used an intentionally light touch with subtle colors that flow seamlessly then blended traditional pieces with more modern ones for a timeless look. Grasscloth wallpapers and a marble fireplace & mosaic backsplash, plus wool carpets, natural hides, one-of-a-kind pillows and embroidered window coverings add a variety of textures the clients love. I also added a large kitchen “command center” and mud room storage to wrangle clutter out of sight. Now they are ready to entertain a crowd any time with comfortable seats everywhere and a vintage dining table that expands to seat 12 for gatherings.
